
Jason has been an elder & the Teaching Pastor of Fellowship Bible Church in Peoria, IL since November 2012. Previous to coming to Peoria, Jason & his family resided in the metropolitan area of St. Louis where Jason served as an Associate Pastor of New Community Church from 2000-2012. Prior to this he was the Pastor of Student Ministries of Grace Bible Church in rural FL. He repented of his sins & trusted in Christ’s perfect life, death & resurrection as the only means to be reconciled to God at the age of 16. He & his wife Amber were married in 1997 & have three children, Jonah, Karis & Aubrey. Jason holds a PhD in Systematic Theology and a ThM from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jason also has the pleasure of writing for the MBTS resource For the Church and has written for the school’s theological journal as well. He holds a Master’s degree in Bible & Theology from Calvary Theological Seminary & a Bachelor’s degree in Bible & Student Ministries from Moody Bible Institute. Jason is an adjunct professor of Puebla Bible Seminary, an adjunct professor of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a member of the Evangelical Theological Society. Jason also serves as a fellow with The London Lyceum. He enjoys spending time and vacationing with his wife, reading and writing.
